Infography: Population change in Europe in 30 years

  1990-2023 Biggest decline was in ex-USSR: Georgia and Ukraine (both victims of Russian aggression during this period of time), Latvia, Moldavia and - at a lower scale - Lithuania, Estonia, Belarus). On the other hand, Turkey (because Syrian civil war), Ireland and Island was the states with major population increase.
